The holy church named after St Peter and St Paul has been established in Kizhakkambalam on 16, november 1905. The church is also known as 'Thoppil Pally'. The church is under the throne of Syrian orthodox patriarcate of Antioch.

Incorporating 450 families, the church reigns in the soil of Kizhakkambalam as an abode of goodness and glory. There are three altars in the church. The main altar is in the name of St Peter and St Paul and the other two are in the name of St Mary and St George.

The holy relics of Mar Kauma blesses the church tremendously. Three shrines established at various places of the parish form a part of the church. The church is nourished by various well functioning organizations like Sunday School, Youth Association, Vanitha Samajam, Family Unit etc.
